Job Description
Job Duties
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, layouts, and specifications
- Install electrical panels and related equipment
- Run, measure, cut, bend, and install conduit/pipe
- Rope and wire complete units from start to finish
- Pull, route, and organize electrical wire and cable
- Perform electrical rough-in and installation work
- Install boxes, supports, and other electrical components as needed
- Identify materials and equipment needed to complete assigned work
- Troubleshoot basic installation issues and make necessary adjustments
- Coordinate with other electricians and trades on the jobsite
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Complete assigned work according to project plans and deadlines
Responsibilities
- Journeyman-level electrical experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installation
- Ability to confidently read and work from electrical drawings and blueprints
- Experience installing panels and running conduit
- Must be able to rope and wire an entire unit
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Must have basic electrical hand tools and required PPE
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to jobsite safety
The hourly rate for this position is $42-45/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
