Journeyman Electrician – Commercial Construction
Pay & Benefits

Job Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems and equipment
- Measure, cut, pull, and terminate wire and cable
- Bend and install various types of conduit, including EMT, rigid, and PVC
- Install wiring, transformers, switchgear, motors, panels, and other electrical components
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues
- Perform electrical installations in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local building codes
- Inspect electrical systems and installations to ensure they meet safety and quality standards
- Coordinate with other trades and contractors on active construction sites
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- Follow all site safety requirements and procedures
Responsibilities
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial electrical construction experience
- Journeyman-level electrical experience
- Strong conduit bending and installation skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
- Must have your own tools of the trade
- Must be able to work safely and efficiently on an active construction site
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in various positions for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Reliable transportation to the jobsite
