Job Description
-
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment
-
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective repairs
-
Perform welding and fabrication as required
-
Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
-
Support safe and efficient operation of all plant systems
-
Disassemble and reassemble baggers for relocation
-
Weld and install equipment guards
-
Assemble pallet racking systems
-
Retrofit chutes onto conveyors to improve material flow
-
Install and modify conveyor components (e.g., scrapers, guards, supports)
-
Diagnose and repair auger bearing issues
-
Align motors, gearboxes, and conveyors
-
Replace bearings, belts, chains, and other mechanical components
-
Perform rigging and equipment moves as needed
-
Maintain clean and organized work areas
-
Complete required maintenance documentation and work orders
-
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
-
Perform other duties as assigned
Responsibilities
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed
- Must own reliable transportation
- Must provide and maintain basic tools of the trade
- Must supply and wear full PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, etc.)
- Must be able to MIG weld proficiently
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior industrial maintenance or millwright experience preferred
The hourly rate for this position is $28.00 - 40.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
