LOCATION: near Pecos, TX

PRST is hiring an experienced Paddlewheel Scraper & Motor Grader Operator to support a General Contractor in the Pecos, TX area, on a short-term commercial project building a security fence. In this role, you’ll earn $30-$32 an hour, enjoy weekly pay and health insurance benefits. What you’ll do:
- Operate a Paddlewheel Scraper and a Motor Grader
- Maneuvering the scraper into the cut to shave off and collect layers of dirt.
- Activating the paddle wheel (elevator) to pull loose earth upward into the hauling bowl.
- Utilizing the machine's retractable floor or ejector gate to lay down material smoothly.
- Performing daily greasing on the elevator chains and inspecting the tracks.
- Complete any other tasks instructed by the site supervisor.

Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience as a Paddlewheel Scraper & Motor Grader Operator Required.
- Heavy Equipment Operator Certification Required.
- OSHA 10 certification REQUIRED (or willingness to obtain prior to starting assistance available)
- Background check and drug screen REQUIRED prior to placement
- Comfortable with repetitive lifting of 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work on Friday and/or Saturday to make up for weather delays.
- Safety-first mindset and ability to follow technical procedures
- Ability to stand on feet for duration of a 10-hour shift
The hourly rate for this position is $30-$32/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
