Job Description
Use tape, drop cloths, and plastic sheeting to protect adjacent surfaces, fixtures, and floors.
Apply primer to enhance paint adhesion and ensure a smooth final finish.
Apply paint using rollers and brushes for detailed and precise work, especially in corners and edges.
Operate and maintain spray equipment for large surface areas, ensuring even and efficient coverage.
Layer paint as needed, allowing proper drying time between coats.
Operate scissor lifts, boom lifts, and climb ladders safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas.
Clean and maintain rollers, brushes, and spray equipment to ensure longevity and optimal performance.
Properly store paint and dispose of waste materials according to safety guidelines.
Responsibilities
Skilled in using rollers, brushes, and spray equipment for various coatings and finishes.
Understanding the properties of different paints, primers, stains, and protective coatings, as well as their appropriate applications.
Expertise in operating, calibrating, and maintaining spray painting equipment for even and efficient coverage.
Precision in masking and taping to protect areas not being painted and ensure clean edges.
Precision in achieving even coverage, clean lines, and high-quality finishes.
The hourly rate for this position is $21-$27/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
