Job Description
- Install and align 5-foot drainage pipe
- Assist with pipe removal and replacement operations
- Grade and prepare trench bottoms
- Verify line and grade measurements
- Work closely with excavator operators and site supervisors
- Follow all OSHA safety requirements and trench safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Responsibilities
- Previous experience installing storm drainage, culvert, or utility pipe
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and grades preferred
- Experience working in trenches and around heavy equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in outdoor conditions
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Stormwater drainage projects
- Culvert installation
- Heavy civil construction
- Utility construction
The hourly rate for this position is $30/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
