Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is currently hiring a Well Pump Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity with our customer, a trusted waste recycling company serving both residential and commercial clients. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who takes pride in technical expertise, problem-solving, and keeping essential water systems running efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on wells, pumps, and water softening systems to maximize performance and reduce downtime
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, or operational issues related to pumping and treatment systems
- Install, test, and service high-capacity wells, pumping equipment, and water treatment systems
- Conduct inspections and performance tests to ensure systems meet operational and safety standards
- Recommend repairs, upgrades, or replacements to improve system efficiency and reliability
- Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and reports
- Follow all safety protocols and industry standards during installation, maintenance, and repair activities
Responsibilities
- 1+ years of experience working with well pumps, water softeners, or related systems
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Comfortable working independently and in varied field conditions
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Availability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with overtime as needed
- Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
The hourly rate for this position is $up to $35/hr (based on experience)/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
