Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machine tools, including multi-axis lathes.
- Manage the full process of taking various metal types from raw stock to finished product independently.
- Utilize modern cutting tools and machining practices to deliver precision results.
- Plan and lay out work based on customer drawings and specifications, determining speeds, feeds, tolerances, and operation sequences.
- Perform setups, adjust machines, and conduct trial cuts as needed.
- Finish metal components using hand tools or machines.
- Use specialized measuring instruments, including vernier calipers, micrometers, surface gauges, profilometers, CMM, vision systems, and dial indicators.
- Apply trigonometric formulas to calculate complex component angles and dimensions.
- Utilize shop mathematics and handbook formulas to compute dimensions for precise planning.
- Work with software for programming; Fusion 360 preferred, but Mastercam is acceptable.
- Perform other duties as required.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 5+ years of experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate.
- Strong work ethic and ability to collaborate effectively with others.

The hourly rate for this position is $35-$45.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
