Responsibilities
- Detailed demolition tasks
- Pre-hung interior door installs
- Custom closet door installations:
- Cutting 4 door slabs to fit an 8’ wide by 8’ tall opening
- Installing closet door track and wheels
- Finishing Work:
- Installing door casing and baseboards
- Light framing
- Pocket door installations
- Door Modifications:
- Fitting blank door slabs into existing door jams:
- Mortising hinges
- Planing doors
- Boring for door hardware
- Electrical/Plumbing:
- Confidence in capping off electrical and plumbing
- Removing fixtures of all types
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a carpenter.
- Ability to use a variety of tools and equipment safely.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality work.
- Must have personal tools and PPE.
The hourly rate for this position is $32.00-$35.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
