Job Description
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining safety policies and procedures tailored to project needs.
- Must have OSHA 30, should have experience with large-scale projects, Data Center, hospital & strong GC experience a plus
- Conducting routine safety inspections and audits to identify hazards, ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, and enforce corrective actions.
- Providing safety training and education to employees, subcontractors, and new hires, ensuring everyone is informed of safety protocols.
- Investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports, and recommending preventative measures.
- Maintaining accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incident reports, and compliance activities.
- Collaborating with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to address safety concerns and ensure a culture of safety awareness.
- Staying current with industry best practices, regulatory updates, and trends to continuously enhance safety programs.
- Standard certifications include OSHA 30, OSHA 500, OSHA 510, or other relevant Construction Safety Professional Training or certifications. (Required to have at least one of these.)
Responsibilities
- OSHA 30 certification
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in construction safety management, preferably in a general contracting environment.
- Deep knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and motivate teams effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to assist with self-performing trade activities of the client
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
The hourly rate for this position is $40/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
