Responsibilities
Experienced, HVAC serice technician needed for a challenging responsibility to manage important customer accounts. Minimum 5 years light commercial A/C and/or refrigeration and ice machine experience. Successful candidates will have valid FL driver’s license and EPA certification, ability and motivation to accurately diagnose, repair, replace & maintain HVACR equipment. Be responsible for a company vehicle to keep clean & maintain parts inventory documents. The work vehicle is to be driven home daily. Good record keeping and paperwork completion is a vital part of this job. Profitable repair sales experience required, numerous commission & bonus opportunities, on-call rotation, year-round work, tool purchase/replacement program, continuing education program, group insurance program, vacation & holidays paid, Retirement program, Drug Free Workplace. Skills testing required to qualify. NATE certification is helpful. Solid opportunity for advancement in management or sales. Pay based upon talent, aptitude testing and verifiable experience.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a refrigeration technician.
- HVAC certification.
- Braising and soldering skills.
- Knowledge of local building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and compliance schematics.
- Advanced mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment.
The hourly rate for this position is $30.00-$45.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
