Job Description
Job Duties
Disassemble industrial racking systems safely and efficiently
Remove anchored components using hand tools and grinders
Grind anchor bolts flush with the concrete
Perform basic concrete make-good work where required
Rig and safely lift racking components during removal
Load, organize, and stage materials for transport
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Follow all site safety policies and procedures
Responsibilities
Previous industrial installation, racking installation/disassembly, or similar mechanical experience preferred
Experience using hand tools and grinders
Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials
Comfortable working in an industrial environment
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Tools Required
Associates must provide their own:
Standard hand tools
Grinding equipment
Site equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks may be available if needed.
PPE Requirements
Steel toe boots
Safety glasses
Work gloves
High-visibility vest
Additional Requirements
Must complete a site safety induction prior to starting work
Ability to work safely while following all OSHA and site-specific safety guidelines
No specialized lifting equipment is anticipated for this project
The hourly rate for this position is $25.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
