Job Description
- Scaffolding will be erected from ground level to approximately 25 feet, requiring comfort working at heights.
- Tasks involve climbing ladders, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Use of hand and power tools (e.g., wrenches, sockets, impact/rattle guns) will be necessary.
- The repair is urgent, and multiple contractors will be onsite, so flexibility and teamwork are essential.
- Comfort working on scaffolding and at heights.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
- Ability to take direction (including from a female supervisor) and adapt to urgent repair situations.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to the team’s success.
Responsibilities
- Scaffolding will be erected from ground level to approximately 25 feet, requiring comfort working at heights.
- Tasks involve climbing ladders, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Use of hand and power tools (e.g., wrenches, sockets, impact/rattle guns) will be necessary.
- The repair is urgent, and multiple contractors will be onsite, so flexibility and teamwork are essential.
- Water will be provided onsite, but workers must bring their own snacks, lunch, and beverages other than water.
- Access to plant break rooms or microwaves is unavailable. However, we may have a microwave in our trailer if power hookup is possible.
- Comfort working on scaffolding and at heights.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
- Ability to take direction (including from a female supervisor) and adapt to urgent repair situations.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to the team’s success.
The hourly rate for this position is $24.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
