WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Install and maintain plantings, irrigation systems, pavers, and other landscape features
Manage water-efficient smart irrigation and install native or drought-tolerant plants following California guidelines
Read landscape plans, blueprints, and project specifications
Operate commercial landscaping equipment and tools
Build quality hardscapes including patios, pavers, retaining walls, and other outdoor features
Monitor workmanship and ensure projects meet client contracts and company quality standards
Abide by job-site safety procedures, including proper handling of tools, equipment, and chemicals
Communicate project progress with management and provide professional customer service to homeowners and clients
Responsibilities
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
4+ years of landscape construction or installation experience
Strong knowledge of planting, irrigation, pavers, hardscape, horticulture, and general site work
Must be able to pass additional screenings including at Background check and MVR
Must have tools for the trade: Pruning shears
Ability to read basic plans and follow precise instructions
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift 50+ lbs., work outdoors, and perform physically demanding tasks
Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset
Experience with custom or high-end residential projects preferred
A strong commitment to **quality, safety, and reliability
The hourly rate for this position is $25-$28/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
