Now Hiring: Industrial Laborer – Braddock, PA | $25/hr
PRST is hiring dependable Industrial Laborers for a temp-to-perm opportunity in Braddock, PA. In this Full-time role, you will support furnace maintenance operations in a steel production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate laser equipment to measure furnace lining thickness
- Apply refractory material using both remote equipment and manual methods
- Perform hands-on spraying using a 30-ft pipe with nozzle attachment
- Reload material hoppers using a forklift
- Assist with setup, operation, and maintenance of equipment
- Work as part of a team to complete furnace restoration projects safely and efficiently
Responsibilities
Requirements:
- Forklift experience required
- Willingness to learn (training provided for most tasks)
- Ability to work in high-heat, industrial environments
- Physically capable of handling demanding labor and equipment
- Strong attention to safety and teamwork
Tools / PPE Required:
- FR (flame-resistant) clothing
- Steel toe/metatarsal boots
- Hardhat (non-plastic)
Schedule:
Rotating shifts (once full crew is established):
- 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Occasional 12-hour shifts may be required
The hourly rate for this position is $25.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
