What You'll Do
- Perform residential remodeling work on a variety of projects throughout the Poulsbo area
- Complete framing, finish carpentry, and general construction tasks.
- Install baseboard, casing, trim, cabinets, and interior doors.
- Hang and adjust doors for proper fit and function.
- Perform drywall repairs, patching, and finishing.
- Complete paint touch-ups and minor finishing work.
- Read and follow project plans and specifications.
- Adapt to changing project scopes, schedules, and site conditions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and homeowners
Responsibilities
- 5+ years of residential remodeling experience and carpentry.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check
- Local candidates strongly preferred
- Proficiency in framing and finish carpentry.
- Experience installing cabinets, doors, base, and casing.
- Ability to perform drywall repairs and paint touch-ups.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical construction work.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing job site needs
The hourly rate for this position is $37-$38/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
