- Manage and supervise all aspects of electrical contracting projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordination.
- Oversee and lead project teams, including electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors, ensuring efficient and effective execution of project tasks.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project completion.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and satisfaction.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including budgets, schedules, and progress reports.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Ensure that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to team members.
Responsibilities
- Valid Active CIB journeyman or Master electrical license
- 3+ years of commercial (prefer hotel) experience
- 3+ years of multi-family experience
- 4+ years experience as a superintendent
- Experience running a crew of 8+ electricians
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Your own tools, including a cordless impact
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
The hourly rate for this position is $48.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
