Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Electrician Helper to support licensed Electricians and Electrical Maintenance Technicians in a temp-to-perm opportunity. This role is ideal for someone looking to build hands-on experience in the electrical field while learning safe work practices and developing technical skills. Regular hours are 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with overtime available as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities

Assist Electricians and Electrical Maintenance Technicians with electrical repairs and service work

Take direction and actively learn from Electricians and Maintenance Technicians

Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials from the service truck daily

Learn and follow safe work practices when working with electricity

Maintain personal and company tools and assist in keeping service vehicles clean

Learn and perform basic electrical tasks, including replacing bulbs and ballasts, installing cable, fixtures, and devices

Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas at all times

Accurately complete daily timesheets

Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance when interacting with customers

Communicate in a friendly and professional manner with staff, customers, and vendors

Serve as additional support for the Service Team when needed

Report unsafe conditions to management immediately

Participate in the Workplace Safety Program and make safety a top priority

Demonstrate consistent reliability in attendance and punctuality

Physical & Environmental Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to climb ladders and work on ladders and lifts
Physically coordinated with strong problem-solving and reasoning skills
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
Qualifications
Willingness and ability to learn the electrical trade
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Valid Mississippi or Tennessee driver’s license
Dependable transportation
Tools & Equipment
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided
Steel-toed work boots required
The hourly rate for this position is $18.00-$22.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
