Job Description

We are now hiring for Building Maintenance Technician

Looking for experienced tech responsible for maintaining buildings in good condition by performing tasks such as upkeep, preventive maintenance, repair, landscaping, handling air conditioning, heating, pest control, plumbing, and carpentry. Cleans, maintains, and repairs building fixtures and equipment for family housing center.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance Technicians are responsible for maintaining buildings in good condition by performing tasks such as upkeep, preventive maintenance, repair, landscaping, handling air conditioning, heating, pest control, plumbing, and carpentry.
  •  General trade skills (painting, drywall, carpentry, electrical and plumbing)
  • Ability to use common hand and power tools
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently
  • Ability to maintain proper schedules
  • Be in good physical condition and comfortable working outdoors as well as indoors and at varying heights. 
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Good communication skills


Qualifications & Experience

  • • Two years minimum working experience in the maintenance or carpentry field
  • • Own tools
  • • OSHA Certification preferred
  • • Verifiable work history that confirms your professional skills and experience
  • • Some Construction Associate assignments have additional screening requirements, such as background checks and/or drug screenings
  • • Valid CT Licensed – Reliable work vehicle
