Job Description
As a Journeyman Carpenter with PRST, you will support a variety of contractors throughout San Diego County on long-term projects. This role is focused on finish carpentry, requiring a high level of precision, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. You will earn $30.00 – $35.00 per hour, receive weekly pay, have access to health insurance benefits, and enjoy a flexible work schedule.
Candidates must be comfortable working independently, reading plans, and delivering clean, finished results in both residential and commercial environments.

Responsibilities
Journeyman Carpenter status or equivalent professional experience
Minimum 3–5 years of finish carpentry experience in residential and/or commercial settings
Proven experience installing cabinets, base and case moldings, and countertops
Strong knowledge of door and finish details
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and finish schedules
High level of accuracy and attention to detail; able to produce clean, finished work
Proficient with standard finish carpentry hand and power tools
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as kneeling, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
Commitment to jobsite safety and professional conduct
The hourly rate for this position is $30-35/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
