Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is hiring Journey Level Carpenters in the Calabasas, CA area and surrounding Los Angeles County cities. In this temporary role, you’ll earn $30.00 – 38.00 per hour DOE, enjoy weekly pay, health insurance benefits and a flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings.
- Measuring, cutting, and shaping wood.
- Assembling and installing framing structures.
- Installing windows, doors, and other fixtures.
- Ensuring work complies with building codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborating with other construction professionals.
- Supervising and coordinating teams.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- - E-Verify: Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- - Must be minimum 18 years of age.
- - Minimum 5 years of finish/rough commercial carpentry experience.
- - Self sufficient and fully tooled in the trade.
- - Strong scheduling and blueprint reading skills as well as knowledge of metal stud/wood framing, material management, metal doors, hardware install, drywall, trim, cabinets/counter tops, suspended grid, tile install, etc.
- - Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
The hourly rate for this position is $30.00-$38.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
