Overview

Responsibilities

• Hours: Monday - Friday 40 Hour Work Week
• Install doors, windows, stairs, baseboards and crown molding
• Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, finishing interior and exterior trim, and other wooden fixtures
• Install wood framing and roof truss components, reading and understanding blue prints and schematics, using hand and electric tools to cut and fabricate and install frame work components
• Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks and props, using hand tools
• Shape and cut materials to specific measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws
• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood and wallboard
• Maintain safety practices at all times
• Prepare the layout and scope of work for the project
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints a plus

Qualifications & Experience

• •Be at least 18+ years of age
• •5+ Years Experience
• •Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
• •Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• •Prior experience in the residential field required
• •Must have previous experience working as a Finish Carpenter
• •Must be familiar with carpentry concepts
• •Must be able to read plans and blueprints
• •Must be familiar with carpentry tools
• •Must be familiar with construction safety practices
• •Previous supervisory, lead, foreman or superintendent experience highly desirable.
• The hourly rate for this position is $30-$50/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
