Job Description
Peopleready, Skilled Trades Division is currently accepting application for experienced commercial and residential Remodeling Carpenters in Syracuse, New York.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities *include but are not limited to:
- Measuring, cutting, and hanging drywall to required specifications;
- Assisting in framing up walls and installing sheathing;
- Installing crown moldings;
- Assembling and fastening materials using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue;
- Cutting and nailing headers and blocking;
- Fitting and installing of window frames, doors, interior and exterior trim, wooden doorframes;
- Performing all duties in compliance with site safety and building requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3-5 years previous experience in the commercial construction industry and knowledge of the materials, methods, and tools involved in the commercial construction field.
- Ability to accept direction and work as a team player.
- Demonstrate dependability to work a regular schedule including nontraditional hours including weekends.
- OSHA 10/OSHA 30 or willingness to undergo OSHA Safety Training.
- Required Tools:
- Hammer, screw drives, tape measure, adjustable wrenches, utility knife, impact driver, plumb bob, cordless drill, caulk gun, nail sets, T square, framing square, level
- The hourly rate for this position is $25-$28/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
