Position: Commercial Concrete Form Setter & Finisher

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Concrete Form Setter & Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience building and setting concrete forms, placing and finishing concrete, and working on commercial construction projects while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, set, and strip wood and metal concrete forms.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, layout plans, and project specifications.
  • Install rebar, anchor bolts, embeds, and other reinforcing materials as required.
  • Pour, spread, level, and finish concrete using hand and power tools.
  • Perform screeding, floating, edging, troweling, broom finishes, and other surface finishes.
  • Form and finish sidewalks, curbs, gutters, slabs, foundations, ramps, stairs, and other concrete structures.
  • Check grades, elevations, and alignment to ensure quality workmanship.
  • Operate power tools and equipment safely, including concrete saws, vibrators, and power trowels.
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site while following OSHA safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with superintendents, foremen, and other trades to meet project schedules.

Responsibilities


  • 3+ years of commercial concrete form setting and finishing experience.
  • Experience with wood-framed forms and ADA-compliant concrete ramps is preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
  • Proficient with hand tools and concrete finishing equipment.
  • Knowledge of proper concrete placement, curing, and finishing techniques.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, kneel, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to report to job sites on time.
  • Must have full construction PPE and basic concrete hand tools.
  • E-Verify - Eligible to work in the USA
  • Be at least 18 years of age


The hourly rate for this position is $26 - $39/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
