Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is hiring Commercial Door installers for immediate work in the Nashville area. The Installer position is expected to install and repair doors and hardware on commercial sites.
Responsibilities
- Measures, marks, and arranges materials to an established layout based on blueprints or instructions from supervisors
- Uses various hand and power tools to install doors securely.
- Ensures the accuracy of work by checking completed projects with tools such as levels or framing squares; corrects problems as needed.
- Adheres to local building and safety codes and guidelines.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
- Ability to understand directions and read blueprints
- Ability to properly care for and use tools of the trade.
- Ability to lift 50lbs consistently during shift
- Thorough understanding of carpentry principles and methods
- Works well as part of a team.
- Experience as a door installer or trim carpenter is preferred but not required.
