Job Description
We are seeking experienced HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanics specializing in ductboard to join our team for a 6+ week project located in Jacksonville, FL. This project offers a steady work schedule with the potential for overtime based on the project’s needs.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and install ductwork systems using ductboard
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Perform quality inspections and ensure adherence to project specifications and safety standards
- Work efficiently and effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in HVAC sheet metal work, particularly with ductboard installation
- Own set of tools necessary for the job
- Ability to follow instructions, read blueprints, and interpret technical documents
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying project demands
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prior experience in the commercial field preferred
The hourly rate for this position is $28.00-$32.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
