Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades (PRST) is seeking a motivated Connecticut Licensed Journeyman Electrician for a commercial renovation project converting an existing commercial space into residential apartments.
The ideal candidate will have strong commercial electrical experience and be comfortable performing demolition, circuit identification, and electrical installations while working as part of a professional construction team.
Job Duties Include:
- Performing electrical demolition work
- Installing electrical fixtures
- Identifying and tracing existing circuits
- Installing and modifying electrical systems during the conversion process
- Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and specifications
- Ensuring all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes
- Maintaining a safe and organized work area
- Position: Connecticut Licensed Journeyman Electrician
- Location: Bristol CT
- Pay Rate: $46.00–$48.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Shift: Morning Shift – 8:00 AM Start
- Project Type: Commercial-to-Residential Conversion
- Parking: Available On Site
Responsibilities
- Valid Connecticut E2 Journeyman Electrician License required
- Commercial electrical experience required
- Experience with electrical demolition, fixture installation, and circuit identification
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Must have reliable transportation
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to quality workmanship and job site safety

The hourly rate for this position is $45.00 - 47.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
