Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades (PRST) is seeking a motivated Plumber / Pipefitter for the construction of a luxury home on Fishers Island, NY.
This unique opportunity involves working on a high-end residential project with all ferry transportation covered by the client. Workers will take the ferry from New London, CT (approximately 30–45 minutes), and transportation will be provided on the island to the jobsite.

- Location: Fishers Island, NY (Ferry access from New London, CT)
- Project Type: Luxury Residential Construction
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Transportation: Ferry transportation provided (departing from New London, CT)
- Parking: Ferry Parking Lot in New London
Job Duties Include:
- Installing plumbing and piping systems in a luxury residential setting
- Working with underground and rough-in phases as needed
- Reading and interpreting blueprints
- Collaborating with other trades on-site
- Maintaining job site safety standards
Responsibilities
- Experience in plumbing or pipefitting (residential or commercial)
- OSHA 10 certification required
- MUST be able to pass a background check
- Must have standard plumbing/piping hand tools
- Standard PPE required (hard hat, safety glasses, boots, etc.)
- Reliable transportation to ferry departure location (New London, CT)
- Ability to work full schedule and commute via ferry

The hourly rate for this position is $$49.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
