Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Class A Carpenter / Finish Carpenter with experience in all phases of residential and general commercial construction. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of working independently or as part of a team to complete projects to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Performing all phases of residential carpentry work

General commercial construction tasks

Steel stud framing
-
Drywall installation and finishing
-
Acoustical ceiling installation
-
Installation of steel doors and hardware
-
Reading blueprints and project specifications
-
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Responsibilities
Class A carpenter skill level with proven experience
Experience in both residential and commercial construction
Proficiency in steel stud work, drywall, acoustical ceilings, and door/hardware installation
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Must have own tools
Reliable transportation
Valid driver’s license
Ability to travel within a 30-mile radius of New London
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
The hourly rate for this position is $30.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
