Job Description

PRST is seeking motivated and reliable Skilled Construction Laborers to join our team on a variety of projects throughout Tracy, CA and the surrounding areas, including commercial and residential construction sites. This role involves supporting trades, performing general construction tasks, site cleanup, material handling, demolition of residential and commercial projects, basic assembly, and assisting with installations.

Pay Rate: $22–$24 per hour (DOE).

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1- 2 years of proven hands-on construction experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to adapt between commercial and residential job sites. Professionalism, reliability, and punctuality are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older
Minimum 1–2 years of proven construction or skilled labor experience (2+ years preferred)
Ability to safely and effectively use hand tools and power tools
Ability to read a measuring tape and take accurate measurements
Comfortable working in both commercial and residential jobsite settings
Experience with demolition, material handling, and general construction tasks preferred
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work on feet, ladders, or knees for extended periods
Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality required
Ability to follow directions and work well with crews and supervisors
OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus (not required)
Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork

The hourly rate for this position is $22 - $24/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
