Job Responsibilities
- Read electrical drawings and schematics
- Wire and connect motors, VFSs, Control panels, PLC I/O, Sensors, safety devices, and related componenets
- Perform electrical testing, point to point checks, phase verifications, motor rotation checks, trouble shooting, and pre energization inspections.
- Verify wiring, labeling, and termination to prepare equipment for commissioning
- Wire electrical outlets, receivers, and connectors
- Connect wiring and electrical components to machinery
- Assist with basic equipment testing and troubleshooting
- Inspect wiring and connections for proper installation
- Follow electrical diagrams, instructions, and project specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures
Responsibilities
- 4+ years of previous electrical technician or industrial electrical experience is required
- Experience wiring outlets, connectors, receivers, or machinery
- Ability to identify and work with electrical components
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Reliable transportation to and from the Dayton jobsite
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
- An electrical license is not required, but relevant hands-on electrical experience is required.
The hourly rate for this position is $28/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
