Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking an Industrial Skilled Laborer to assist multiple trades throughout the project.
Location: Dayton, TX 77535
Pay: $22-$24/hour
Duration: 7+ months
Start: 8/24/2026
Schedule: Morning Shift
Employment Type: Temp to perm

Job Responsibilities
- Assist mechanical technicians and other skilled trades as directed
- Move, organize, and stage materials throughout the work area
- Load and run materials through machinery as instructed
- Assist with the assembly, installation, and positioning of equipment
- Use hand and power tools to complete assigned tasks
- Maintain organized material and equipment areas
- Perform general mechanical and industrial support duties
- Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures

$22-$24
Requirements:
- Previous mechanical, industrial, construction, or skilled labor experience, 1 year minimum on the job.
- Spanish Speakers, or Bilingual preferred but not required.**
- Experience working around machinery and industrial equipment
- Ability to safely move, stage, and handle materials
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work with multiple trades
- Reliable transportation to and from the Dayton jobsite
- Ability to lift, carry, bend, stand, and work for extended periods

The hourly rate for this position is $22-$24/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
