Job Description
As a Licensed Journeyman Electrician with People Ready Skilled Trades, you’ll support a large network of electrical contractors in Austin, TX. Responsibilities
- Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
- Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
- Measuring, cutting, and bending conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools
- Troubleshoot motor and control systems
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
- Adhere to all quality and safety codes
Qualifications & Experience
- Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
- Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Have 2 forms of identification to work in the United States
- Reliable transportation
- MUST BE CALIFORNIA STATE CERTIFIED
- The hourly rate for this position is $40-$50/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
