Responsibilities
- Hours: Monday - Friday 40 Hour Work Week
- Install doors, windows, stairs, baseboards and crown molding
- Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, finishing interior and exterior trim, and other wooden fixtures
- Install wood framing and roof truss components, reading and understanding blue prints and schematics, using hand and electric tools to cut and fabricate and install frame work components
- Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks and props, using hand tools
- Shape and cut materials to specific measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood and wallboard
- Maintain safety practices at all times
- Prepare the layout and scope of work for the project
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints a plus
Qualifications & Experience
- •Be at least 18+ years of age
- •5+ Years Experience
- •Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
- •Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- •Prior experience in the residential field required
- •Must have previous experience working as a Finish Carpenter
- •Must be familiar with carpentry concepts
- •Must be able to read plans and blueprints
- •Must be familiar with carpentry tools
- •Must be familiar with construction safety practices
- •Previous supervisory, lead, foreman or superintendent experience highly desirable.
- The hourly rate for this position is $40-$50/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
