Job Description
EQUIPMENT OPERATORS NEEDED
- Dozer Operators
- Excavator Operators
- Operators experienced with multiple pieces of heavy equipment are encouraged to apply
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in an active construction environment
- Perform excavation, grading, trenching, backfilling, and material handling
- Support installation of large-diameter water transmission pipelines
- Excavate and maintain deep trenches for underground utility installation
- Work around pipelayers, pipefitters, laborers, and other heavy equipment
- Perform grading and earthwork according to project plans and specifications
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report mechanical or safety concerns
- Maintain safe working distances around personnel, trucks, and other equipment
Responsibilities
- Proven experience operating dozers and/or excavators
- Experience on utility, civil, pipeline, water infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects preferred
- Strong understanding of safe equipment operation around underground utilities and personnel
- Ability to work safely around deep excavations and active construction crews
- Reliable attendance and transportation
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to follow grades, elevations, and site plans
- Operators who can work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards
Positions: Dozer & Excavator Operators
The hourly rate for this position is $$27.00-$30.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
