Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions: Must be able to receive, plan, schedule & complete work projects involving various HVAC systems Plan, Organize & lay out work for routine & special projects regarding HVA systems & associatedequipment. Regulate temperature levels for the facility within accepted comfort ranges. Work with independent contractors on various projects. Must be able to weld, braze & pipe fit units. Reclaim refrigerant & maintain logs as required by governing bodies. Must be able to use standard electrical & hand tools, refrigerant gauges, welding & brazingequipment in a safe & correct manner. Work from work orders, diagrams, manuals, schematics & supervisor instruction. Ability to perform & respond to all emergency situations. Assist with general maintenance when needed. Follow all safety rules & maintain work areas in a clean & orderly condition.OTHER DUTIES: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the partner for this job. Qualifications & Experience

  • Highschool Diploma or GED
  •  Must have five years minimum experience in HVAC field.
  •  Refrigerator and Appliance experience preferred.
  •  Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certificate preferred.JOB DESCRIPTION

  • ENVIRONMENTAL & PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: The physical responsibilities of this
  • position constantly require effective climbing, bending, crouching, crawling, twisting, smelling, reaching,
  • standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and
  • repetitive motions. This position often involves heavy work, exerting up to 100 pounds of force
  • occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to
  • move objects. Must be able to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness and
  • thoroughness of work assigned or make general observations of the community; close visual acuity,
  • such as reading a computer screen, reading printed material, inspection of small defects, and using
  • measurement devices; perform activities with visual acuity within arm’s reach such as operating
  • machines. The functions of this position are subject to environmental conditions of both inside and
  • outside activities, and may be routinely exposed to noise, vibration, working hazards such as proximity
  • to moving parts, mechanical equipment, moving vehicles, electrical current, heights, exposure to heat,
  • exposure to chemicals, work in close quarters, narrow aisles or passageways, communicable diseases,
  • blood borne pathogens, cleaning chemicals, dust, odors and a variety of pets.
  • INTELLECTUAL/EMOTIONAL REQUIREMENTS: The occupant of this position must be able to
  • perform the responsibilities of the position well under pressure. The position requires adaptability to
  • performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or
  • composure. This position requires the ability to deal with and find resolutions to problems and maintain
  • a productive working relationship with team members and may be interrupted frequently to meet the
  • needs and requests of others. It also requires adaptability to fluctuate between priorities on a daily
  • basis while being responsive to needs as they arise.

The hourly rate for this position is $-$40.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
