Job Description
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain electrical systems and equipment
- Inspect electrical components and recommend repairs or preventative maintenance
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
- Install and repair wiring, panels, breakers, motors, switches, relays, lighting, and related equipment
- Run and install conduit, wiring, and power distribution systems
- Respond to service calls and emergency maintenance situations
- Complete work orders, job documentation, and service reports accurately
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Provide professional customer service to residents and community stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Current Maryland Journeyman Electrician License (Required)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and repair
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Experience working independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Commitment to safety, customer service, and professional communication
The hourly rate for this position is $32-$34/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
