Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is currently hiring a Control Panel & Lift Station Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity with our customer, a well-established waste recycling company serving both residential and commercial projects. This role is ideal for a skilled technician who enjoys troubleshooting, fieldwork, and working with complex pump and control systems.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair lift station control panels, pumps, and related systems
- Install, service, and maintain well pump systems, including submersible, deep, and shallow wells
- Prepare detailed material lists, project cost estimates, and service quotes
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment efficiency and compliance with safety standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics
- Collaborate with team members, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely, high-quality work
- Maintain accurate service records, repair logs, and cost estimates
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA standards, and industry best practices
Responsibilities
- 1+ years of experience with lift stations, control panels, or well pump systems
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Working knowledge of pumps, motors, and electrical systems
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with overtime as needed
- Safety-focused and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to quality work
The hourly rate for this position is $paying up to $35/hr (based on experience)/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
