Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Punch List Carpenter to join our team. This role focuses on final-stage construction work, ensuring projects are completed to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, takes pride in their work, and can efficiently complete punch list items with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete punch list items on residential and/or commercial projects
- Perform finish carpentry tasks including trim, baseboards, doors, cabinets, and hardware installation
- Handle light to moderate painting tasks such as touch-ups, patching, and surface prep
- Repair drywall, minor framing issues, and general cosmetic fixes
- Install and adjust fixtures, doors, and windows as needed
- Address quality control issues to ensure job site readiness for final inspection
- Work from blueprints, work orders, or supervisor instructions
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding progress and issues
Requirements:
- Must own journeyman-level tools required to perform job duties
- Proven experience in finish carpentry and punch-out work
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in both residential and commercial construction
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs (a plus)
- Painting and drywall finishing experience
Responsibilities
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Minimum 3 year of experience on commercial, residential or industrial construction sites
• Self-sufficient and able to operate crane
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
The hourly rate for this position is $24 - 25/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
