Job Title: Construction Superintendent
Location: Laguna Beach, CA
Project Duration: Monday 7/27 – 8/31
Pay Rate: $60-$90/hr (based on experience)
We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee a commercial construction project in Laguna Beach. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience managing subcontractors, and the ability to communicate project updates effectively.
Job Duties:
- Oversee subcontractors and daily project activities
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to plans and schedule
- Provide updates and reports to the Head Superintendent
- Coordinate with trades and ensure quality standards are met
- Assist with resolving any jobsite issues or delays
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Project Details:
- Installation of a new ADA ramp (wood-framed) for a rostrum stage inside a church building
- Project dates: 7/27 – 8/31
- Location: Laguna Beach, CA
Responsibilities
Requirements:
- Previous Superintendent or Foreman experience required
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and jobsite coordination
- Experience managing subcontractors and reporting project updates
- Reliable transportation and ability to work on-site
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and able to pass E-Verify requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work on construction sites for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
The hourly rate for this position is $60 - $90/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
