Job Description

Your Responsibilities:
- Work 4×10 shifts, Sunday through Thursday (40+ hours/week).
- Measure and cut CAT6 cables to required lengths with precision.
- Use fish tape or pull strings to guide cables through conduits.
- Apply cable lubricant to ensure smooth installation and prevent damage.
- Terminate cables by stripping ends, attaching connectors (e.g., RJ45 plugs), and testing with a cable tester.
- Calculate conduit fill ratios to ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Label, organize, route, and secure cables to maintain a neat and accessible setup.
Responsibilities
Ability to terminate cables with connectors like RJ45 plugs and use punch-down tools for keystone jacks.
Understanding of conduit fill ratios and compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
Proficiency in using fish tape, pull strings, and lubricants to pull wires through conduits.
Familiarity with cable testers, network analyzers, and continuity testers to verify connections.
Ability to identify and resolve issues like signal loss, improper terminations, or damaged cables.
The hourly rate for this position is $24-$26/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
