Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades (PRST) is hiring a dependable Shop Technician to join our client’s woodshop and millwork production team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in precision craftsmanship, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities:

Operate woodworking and millwork machinery such as table saws, planers, sanders, and jointers to process raw lumber into finished components.

Load and unload materials, organize inventory, and stage items for production.

Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment.

Assist with fabricating sample pieces based on specifications.

Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
Responsibilities
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in woodworking, construction, or manufacturing environments.
Comfortable operating shop tools and industrial equipment.
Forklift or DOT certification a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.

The hourly rate for this position is $24 - 26/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
