Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Skilled Laborer to support the service and maintenance of commercial restaurant equipment. This role involves assisting with and performing general repair and preventative maintenance on fryers, ovens, grills, and other foodservice equipment in commercial kitchens.
This is a temp-to-permanent opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, and comfortable working early morning hours in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide professional fryer management and oil filtration services
- Assist in troubleshooting and servicing fryers, ovens, grills, and related equipment
- Support lead technicians in field service work
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks as assigned
- Load, unload, and move equipment and tools as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and service vehicle
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Responsibilities
- Mechanical aptitude or experience in skilled labor, maintenance, construction, or similar work
- Willingness to learn commercial kitchen equipment repair
- Ability to work early morning shifts (starting at 3:00 AM)
- Strong reliability and work ethic
- Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy equipment
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Temp-to-permanent position with opportunity for long-term employment
- On-the-job training provided
- Steady full-time hours
The hourly rate for this position is $20 - $24/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
