Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is looking for solar laborers for projects throughout the Bay Area. This is a temp-to-perm job that is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the sustainability sector.
Responsibilities
- Installation of residential PV systems.
- Mounting rails, installing panels, pulling wire, ensuring to maintain integrity of roof or other installation surface.
- Moving Materials and organizing tools.
- Working on rooftops and other elevated areas, using appropriate safety equipment.
- Maintain safety practices at all times.
- Ensure safe and efficient installation of systems while providing excellent customer service.
- Transporting materials to job sites.
- Ensuring that jobsites are clean and presentable.
Qualifications & Experience
- Will need to have previous construction experience.
- Ideal candidates will be familiar with PV systems.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be familiar with tools of the trade.
- Must be familiar with construction safety practices.
- May be subject to pre-employment drug screen and background check.
