Job Title: TDLR licensed Electrician (Hospital Projects)
Location: McKinney, Texas 75069
Pay Rate: $35/hour
License Required: Active Texas License (TDLR)
Overview:
PeopleReady Skilled Trades (PRST) is seeking experienced Licensed Texas Electricians for a commercial project in McKinney, TX. This role requires prior hospital or healthcare facility experience and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Install conduit, cable tray, and electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings
- Build and run conduit racks
- Perform large cable pulls and wire installations
- Install and terminate switchgear, distribution panels, and transformers
- Work with fire alarm and control systems
- Perform rooftop electrical work, including conduit runs and tie-ins
- Ensure all work meets local, state, and jobsite safety and code requirements
- Collaborate with other trades and project teams to maintain workflow
Responsibilities
Requirements:
- Active Texas Electrician License (TDLR) – REQUIRED
- Proven experience working on hospital or healthcare construction projects – REQUIRED
- Strong conduit bending skills (must be able to bend pipe proficiently)
- Experience with switchgear, panels, transformers, and cable tray systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and tools of the trade
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship

The hourly rate for this position is $30-$35/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
