Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is now hiring Aluminum Boat Welder / Fabricators for boats for recreational markets and small government municipalities in Bremerton, WA. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience with Aluminum mig wire welding.
Position is Temp to Perm. Pay Rate: $28-32 DOE.

Responsibilities
Weld Preparation
Aluminum Mig and Tig Welding
Fit-up and Fabrication of aluminum parts during construction.
Understanding of Manufacturing Time Constraints
Receive Direction from Onsite Welding Supervision
Ability to Work with Safety at the Forefront of Priorities
Qualifications & Experience
- Must Have at a Minimum 2 Years of aluminum welding experience
- Experience on use of Miller Aluminum Welding Equipment and understanding of equipment
- Welding experience on similar vessels- Preferred
- Knowledge and ability to keep track of parts and materials
- Keep clean and organized working station
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong ability to coordinate multiple projects.
- Ability to provide own welding helmet and basic air tools. Most tools will be provided.
- Onsite testing will be conducted upon approval.
The hourly rate for this position is $26.00-$35.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
