Job Description
As a Carpenter with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you’ll support our customers on potential commercial and residential projects located in Arcadia, FL and surrounding areas. In this role, you’ll earn up between $28 – $32 an hour based on your skillset, enjoy weekly pay, and health insurance benefits. - Construct, erect, install, and dismantle concrete form systems
- Build and install wood structures and plywood components
- Construct and work with plywood scaffolding
- Install wallboard as needed
- Perform carpentry work supporting industrial water infrastructure foundations and pump houses
- Work from plans, measurements, and project specifications
- Safely use hand and power tools while maintaining a clean and organized work area
Responsibilities
- 3–5+ years of structural concrete formwork or industrial carpentry experience
- Strong understanding of concrete form systems and general construction practices
- Comfortable working outdoors and performing physically demanding field work
- Able to stand, bend, kneel, sit, climb, and work extended shifts as required
- Must be comfortable maintaining balance while working on scaffolding and ladders
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Strong commitment to jobsite safety and quality workmanship
The hourly rate for this position is $$28.00-$32.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
