Overview

Responsibilities

• Major Opportunities & Key Accountabilities: Performs all types of industrial commercial painting work and surface preparation
• Prepares various surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, power wash, remove old caulking and caulk and prepare to paint the wall Perform work with strict company and regulatory safety procedures at all times
• Position will require night shift work at times
• Work as an Independent Contractor or as an employee
• Read blueprints/instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary for each job
• Properly prep each job
• Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by removing old material if necessary, filling cracks and holes with appropriate material, and creating a smooth base for painting
• Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture
• Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools
• Clean up/dispose of worksite debris daily
• Must execute each job in a timely and professional manner while complying with regulations, standards, safety policies and procedures

Qualifications & Experience

• Prior scissor and boom lift experience
• The ability to Lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly
• Ability to climb ladders and work at height
• All offers of employment are contingent on passing drug test, physical/ lift test and criminal background check
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Able to follow directions and work well with others
• Must have experience prepping a large commercial job, using a lift, and spraying drywall
• Must be able to maintain positive relationships with our team, contractors, suppliers and customers
• Ability to work days
• Solid knowledge and previous experience with commercial and construction painting techniques
• Basic math
• Conscientious with great attention to detail
• Must have reliable transportation
