Pay: $29/hour
Duration: Approximately 3 months
Start: Immediate
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM start | 40 hours/week

Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate a John Deere 350 excavator and other standard excavation equipment
- Perform demolition and site-clearing work
- Excavate and prepare areas according to project specifications
- Clear trees, brush, and debris from the job site
- Load trucks with dirt and excavated material
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications
- Communicate effectively with ground crews and other trades to maintain situational awareness
- Perform basic equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all company, federal, and state safety requirements
Responsibilities
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Minimum 3 years of excavator operating experience REQUIRED
- All qualifying excavator experience must be within the last 5 years
- Strong situational awareness and ability to safely operate equipment around workers, vehicles, and other machinery
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- OSHA 10 Construction Certification is preferred but not required
- Background check REQUIRED
- Drug test REQUIRED
The hourly rate for this position is $28 - $29/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
