Job Description
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in facility maintenance or engineering.
- Strong ability to perform minor repairs on building systems and equipment.
- Proficient in understanding and following both written and verbal instructions.
- Excellent record-keeping and reporting skills.
- Thorough knowledge of occupational hazards and safety protocols related to equipment use.
- Familiarity with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire safety, and mechanical systems.
- Assist the Facility Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining and repairing electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and related systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and perform minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building repairs.
- Assemble furniture, arrange desks and equipment, and set up chairs and tables for events.
- Operate and maintain HVAC systems, including RTUs, AHUs, boilers, and pumps, using the Energy Management System (EMS).
- Monitor and maintain boiler water treatment systems and record test results (in season).
- Conduct visual inspections of common areas and restrooms, addressing any immediate deficiencies or maintenance needs.
- Maintain and repair fire alarm, fire sprinkler, and emergency generator systems.
- Inspect fire extinguishers monthly and monitor pest control, refuse removal, elevator maintenance, landscaping, and snow removal services.
- Perform painting, lockset installation and repairs, and snow removal from sidewalks and loading docks as needed.
- Respond promptly to service requests through the Client Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Maintain an accurate inventory of tools and consumable supplies.
- Record daily events, observations, and maintenance activities in the building logbook.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security guidelines and report any concerns to the Director of Facilities Management.
- Ability to lift and move materials, supplies, and equipment weighing a minimum of 55 lbs.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including outdoors during seasonal landscaping or snow removal tasks.
- Perform any reasonable tasks related to building operations as directed by the Client, company executives, the Director of Facilities Management, Facility Area Manager, or Chief Engineer.

Shift: 830a-5p w/ 30 Minute Unpaid Lunch
The hourly rate for this position is $25/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
